Lumens and ANSI lumens

Projectors often list two figures. Lumens is the stated light output. ANSI lumens is a stricter measurement according to a fixed standard and comes out considerably lower. The product pages show both, so you can make a fair comparison. You get the best picture in a room with the curtains closed.

Resolution

The native resolution is what the projector actually projects. Our models have 720p (1280 x 720), WXGA (1280 x 800) or Full HD (1920 x 1080). For films, native Full HD is the best choice, such as the BEAMER6042.

Streaming from your phone

The BEAMER4525, the BEAMER4322 and the BEAMER6042 have screen mirroring: you put your phone's screen on the wall wirelessly. The DBS350 runs on Android.

How long does the lamp last?


The LED lamp in the BEAMER4525, 4322, 5825 and 6042 has a stated lifespan of 50,000 hours.

How big is the picture?


That varies by model, up to 200 inches with the BEAMER5825. The maximum picture size is listed in the specifications.

Do I need a screen?


A plain white wall works fine. A projection screen gives more contrast.
