7.5 kg, so you set it down wherever there is room and push it aside again afterwards. The Salora MINIWASHING5 is a compact top-loading washing machine for 4.6 kg of laundry. It is 38 cm wide, 42 cm deep and 63.5 cm high.

Four point six kilos per load

The 30-litre drum takes 4.6 kg of laundry: a load of work clothes, sports kit, baby clothes or the washing from a student room. You fill it from the top, so you do not have to bend down. A wash is done in 15 minutes and uses 30 litres of water. The specifications list washing class A for washing, and class A at 300 rpm for spinning.

Turn a knob, done

The controls consist of rotary knobs: one knob for the wash time and a separate knob for the spin time. Turn in the time and the machine starts. There is no menu to scroll through and no display to read, so everyone in the house can use it straight away.

Take it along and store it away

At 7.5 kg you can lift it on your own. It fits in the car boot, at the campsite, in a student room, in a holiday home or on a boat. In the cupboard it takes up no more room than a small fridge.
