9.1 cm deep, so it sits flat against the wall. The Salora FOD43FV is a 43 inch (109 cm) Full HD set with a response time of 6.5 ms and a weight of 6.5 kg. It has three tuners, satellite included.

Two years' full warranty on this return deal

This set was returned within the cooling-off period and checked by us. It is fully functional and comes with twenty-four months' full warranty, on the same terms as a new item. If you report a defect within those two years, we will sort it out.

The box has been opened and there may be light marks on the casing. Picture, sound and the connections have been tested and found to be in order.

A return deal is not the same as refurbished. Refurbished means used and reconditioned. A return deal means returned and checked.

What the FOD43FV does

The 1920 x 1080 screen reaches 230 cd/m², a contrast ratio of 5000:1 and a viewing angle of 178 degrees at 50 Hz. The set runs on VIDAA, with Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and NPO Start.

Frequently asked questions

Does the warranty really last two years?
Yes. Twenty-four months' full warranty, on the same terms as a new set. You report it to us and we handle it.

How far does it stick out when wall mounted?
The set is 9.1 cm deep at 97.0 x 56.3 cm. The VESA pattern is 100 x 100 mm and the weight 6.5 kg, so with a flat bracket the whole thing stays close to the wall.

Is 6.5 ms fast enough for gaming?
Yes. With a 6.5 ms response time at 50 Hz and a resolution of 1920 x 1080, the picture follows your controller instantly, on 43 inches.

Which channels can I receive?
All three routes: DVB-C for cable, DVB-T2 for digital terrestrial and DVB-S2 for satellite. A smartcard for pay channels goes in the CI+ 1.3 slot.

Is everything included?
Yes. The set comes complete with stand, cables, remote control and user manual.

Can I send it back if I don't like it?
Yes. A thirty-day cooling-off period is included, the same as with a new item. Within that period you can return the set to us.

What is the recommended viewing distance?
Allow 1.6 to 2.7 metres. For Full HD the rule of thumb is 1.5 to 2.5 times the screen diagonal of 109.2 cm. Closer than one and a half times, you start to see the individual pixels; further away than two and a half times, you no longer make full use of the Full HD resolution.
