What the SMART50TV does
The 4K-resolution panel reaches 250 cd/m², a contrast ratio of 5000:1 and a viewing angle of 178 degrees, with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. Android TV 11 runs Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Twitch and Spotify. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in.
There are three HDMI 2.1 ports with ARC and eARC, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, an optical digital audio output and a headphone output. The sound comes from two speakers with a combined output of 10 W. The three tuners receive DVB-C, DVB-S2 and DVB-T2, with a CI+ 1.3 slot for a smartcard.

Can I connect a satellite dish?
Yes. In addition to cable (DVB-C) and digital terrestrial (DVB-T2), you receive satellite via the DVB-S2-capable tuner, without an external receiver. There is a CI+ 1.3 slot for pay channels.
What can I do with the HDMI 2.1 ports?
All three ports are version 2.1 and support ARC and eARC, so you can send the sound through a cable to a soundbar or receiver. The panel refreshes at 50 Hz.
Which bracket do I need?
The VESA pattern is 200 x 200 mm. The set weighs 9.5 kg and is 112.0 cm wide, so a standard bracket for 50 inch will do.
Can I send it back if I don't like it?
Yes. You have a thirty-day cooling-off period, the same as for a new item. If you decide not to keep it after all, it comes back to us within those thirty days.
What is the recommended viewing distance?
Allow 1.5 to 2.5 metres. With 4K Ultra HD you can sit close without seeing the pixel structure: 1.2 to 2.0 times the screen diagonal of 127.0 cm. That lower limit is the THX guideline for a viewing angle of 40 degrees; the SMPTE guideline of 30 degrees comes to about 1.6 times the diagonal, right in the middle of that range.
