HD Ready (1366 x 768) on a Direct-LED panel with 16.7 million colours. Brightness 200 cd/m², contrast 3000:1 and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The panel is native 60 Hz and supports 50 and 60 Hz. With 8.5 ms, the picture responds quickly during sport and games. The border around the screen is minimal.

Apps and operation

The TV runs on VIDAA. This system starts up quickly and works without an account. Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and NPO Start come installed as standard, and the remote control has direct buttons for Netflix and YouTube. You can get more apps from the VIDAA app store. Wi-Fi is built in, and there is an Ethernet port for a wired connection.

Tuners and connections

DVB-C for cable, DVB-T2 for terrestrial TV and DVB-S2 for satellite: all three are built in. Your provider's smartcard goes into the CI+ 1.3 slot. On the side you will find 3x HDMI 1.4 with ARC, 2x USB 2.0, an optical digital audio output and a headphone output. You can record to a USB stick, and teletext, EPG and hotel mode are included.

Wall mounting and placement

Without the stand, the TV is 73.2 cm wide, 43.4 cm high and 8.1 cm deep, at 3.5 kg. With the supplied stand fitted, it weighs 3.9 kg and you need 21 cm of depth on your furniture. It is a central stand, so a narrow TV unit is enough. VESA 100 x 100 mm, so any standard wall bracket fits.

Do I need a satellite receiver?
No. The DVB-S2-capable tuner is built in, so you connect the satellite dish cable directly to the TV.

Can I connect a soundbar?
Yes, via HDMI ARC or via the optical output. Headphones go into the headphone output.

How do I get the picture from my phone onto the TV?
With an HDMI cable, or you open the app directly on the TV.

Can I use it for gaming?
Yes. With an 8.5 ms response time and a 60 Hz panel, it plays comfortably. You connect a PS5 or Xbox Series X via HDMI; the screen shows the picture in 1366 x 768.

What is the recommended viewing distance?
Allow for 1.9 to 2.4 metres. With an HD panel you sit slightly further away than with Full HD: allow for 2.3 to 3.0 times the screen diagonal of 81.3 cm. From about 2.3 times, the individual pixels are no longer visible to normal eyesight.
